Starlike Care Pro is an alkaline, thick gel cleaner for the most stubborn and oldest epoxy residues. It also tackles cured residues that have been there for a long time, and works on graffiti, spray paint, and ink. The product is water-based and comes in a 0.5-liter package.
Product & application
Undiluted, Starlike Care Pro removes aged residues and stains from epoxy grouts such as Starlike Pro, Starlike Crystal, and Starlike Easy. It also removes stains previously left by dark-colored cement-based grout on polished porcelain stoneware.
Starlike Care Pro is the heavy artillery: for residues that have been there for months and are no longer yielding. The gel is thick enough to adhere to a wall while it does its job.
- All types of ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware
- Polished and aged stoneware
- Ceramic and glass mosaics
- Natural stone, including polished marble
- Application on floors and walls, indoors and outdoors
Pay attention to which cleaner is suitable for your grout. This line is intended for Starlike Pro, Crystal, and Easy. If you have grouted with Starlike EVO, use Litonet EVO for floors or Litonet Gel EVO for walls.
Surface & compatibility
The solution is not aggressive and can therefore be used on polished marble and polished or honed stoneware without damaging or dulling the surface. Unlike Starlike Care and Wall Care, the grout must be completely cured here: normally five days at +20 to +25 °C.
- Suitable for all types of tiles, mosaics, and natural stone
- Fresh residues require less contact time than dried-in ones
- Also removes graffiti, spray paint, ink, silicone residues, and stains from organic polymers.
- Highly degreasing and removes wax
Before use, cover everything that should not come into contact with the cleaner: doors, window frames, rubber seals, furniture, taps, and metal or PVC profiles.
Processing
Shake the bottle well before use. Pour the undiluted product directly onto the surface and spread it evenly with a white pad or felt. Allow it to soak for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how stubborn the residues are, then rub the surface with a white felt pad; for large areas, this can be done with a single-disc machine with a white pad. Mechanical rubbing during the soaking makes removal considerably easier.
- Use undiluted for epoxy residues
- Apply between +5 °C to +35 °C
- Contact time 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how stubborn the residues are
- Wear protective clothing and follow the label
- Regularly change the rinse water
Absorb the dirty solution with a sponge, squeegee, or wet vacuum cleaner, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a clean cloth. Do not let the rinse water dry — otherwise, the stains will return. If residues are still visible after rinsing, repeat the treatment in the same way.

Frequently asked questions
How long should I wait after grouting? Unlike Starlike Care and Wall Care, the grout must be completely cured here: normally five days at +20 to +25 °C. The product works faster on fresh residues; dried-in residues require longer.
Can this be used on marble and natural stone? Yes. The solution is not aggressive and, according to the technical data sheet, can also be used on polished marble and polished or honed stoneware without damage or dullness.
Does this also work against graffiti? Yes. The technical data sheet explicitly mentions graffiti, spray paint, and ink, as well as silicone residues and stains from organic polymers.
The stains return after rinsing — how is that possible? Usually because the rinse water has dried on the tile. Actively absorb the water and dry with a clean cloth instead of letting it evaporate.
