Litokol Starlike Finishes Galaxy is a color effect that you mix into Starlike EVO as a third component. The 150-gram sachet is pre-dosed for a 5 kg bucket, so you don't have to weigh it. It is therefore not an independent grout but an additive to a bucket that you buy separately.
Color & atmosphere
Galaxy gives the joint a metallic sheen that moves with the light. In a bathroom with mosaic, you'll see the wall change color as you walk past it.

This effect can be mixed with any color from the Starlike EVO range. The shade will be slightly lighter than the original color without the additive.

Observe the limits. Do not use a bucket with this effect outdoors — on terraces, balconies, facades and in swimming pools — as the additives are poorly resistant to UV radiation. Also, do not use it on surfaces that come into contact with aggressive chemicals, such as industrial floors.
Substrate & compatibility
The substrate requirements are those of Starlike EVO itself: the joints must be clean, dust-free and open to the full tile thickness, and the tile adhesive must be completely dry and cured.

The effect is strongest on a surface exposed to daylight or artificial light. In a dark corner, you will see little of it.
Processing
First, mix the hardener (part B) into the colored paste (part A) of Starlike EVO, using a slow-speed mixer, until a lump-free mass is formed. Then, carefully pour in this sachet and gently mix it until it is evenly distributed.
- Pour in carefully: the powder is light and easily scatters
- Mix at low speed, otherwise the product will splash
- Apply with a rubber grout float, diagonally to the joint direction
- Most favorable between +18 °C and +23 °C
- Clean while the product is fresh
Do not add water or solvent to make it easier to spread. Below +10 °C, the mixture becomes thick and difficult to process, and curing takes much longer; do not start if the temperature drops below +10 °C within 24 hours. In warm weather, distribute the product quickly over the surface, as the heat of reaction in the bucket shortens the processing time.

How do I prevent the powder from scattering? Pour it slowly into the already mixed bucket and keep the mixer speed low. The powder is very light, so pouring quickly or mixing hard will cause it to swirl up.
