Litokol Starlike Finishes Galaxy is a color effect that you mix into Starlike EVO as a third component. The 75-gram sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, so you don't need to weigh it. It is therefore not a self-contained grout but an addition to a bucket that you purchase separately.
Color & atmosphere
Galaxy gives the grout a metallic sheen that moves with the light. In a bathroom with mosaic, you will see the wall change color as you walk past it.

This effect can be mixed with any color from the Starlike EVO range. The shade will be slightly lighter than the original color without the additive.

Observe the limits. Do not use a bucket with this effect outdoors — on terraces, balconies, facades and in swimming pools — as the additives are not very resistant to UV radiation. Also, do not use it on surfaces that come into contact with aggressive chemicals, such as industrial floors.
Substrate & compatibility
The substrate requirements are those of Starlike EVO itself: the joints must be clean, dust-free and open over the full tile thickness, and the tile adhesive must be completely dry and cured.

The effect is strongest on a surface exposed to daylight or artificial light. In a dark corner, you will see little of it.
Processing
First, mix the hardener (part B) into the colored paste (part A) of Starlike EVO, using a slow-speed mixer, until a lump-free mass is obtained. Then carefully pour in this sachet and gently mix it until it is evenly distributed.
- Pour carefully: the powder is light and easily disperses
- Mix at low speed, otherwise the product will splatter
- Apply with a rubber grout float, diagonally to the grout direction
- Best between +18 °C and +23 °C
- Clean while the product is fresh
Do not add water or solvent to make it easier to spread. Below +10 °C, the mixture becomes thick and difficult to work with, and curing takes much longer; do not start if the temperature drops below +10 °C within 24 hours. In warm weather, spread the product quickly over the surface, as the reaction heat in the bucket shortens the working time.

Do I also need a bucket of Starlike EVO for this? Yes. This is an additive, not a grout in itself. The sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, which you order separately.
Will this change my grout color? The shade will be slightly lighter than the original color without the additive.
Can this be used on my balcony or terrace? No. These additives are not very resistant to UV radiation and are therefore only intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, use a regular EVO color without effect.
How do I prevent the powder from dispersing? Pour it slowly into the already mixed bucket and keep the mixer speed low. The powder is very light, so pouring quickly or mixing hard will cause it to disperse.
