Litokol Starlike Finishes Night Vision is a colour effect that you mix into Starlike EVO as a third component. The 200-gram sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, so you don't have to weigh it. It is not a standalone grout but an additive to a bucket that you buy separately.
Colour & atmosphere
Night Vision charges itself with light and then emits a bluish glow in the dark. Along a staircase or in a wellness area, this is both practical and surprising.

Important: Night Vision cannot be used with every colour. The datasheet mentions these EVO colours: 110 Grigio Perla, 115 Grigio Seta, 120 Grigio Piombo, 205 Travertino, 208 Sabbia, 210 Greige, 215 Tortora, 225 Tabacco, 310 Azzurro Polvere, 320 Azzurro Caraibi, 330 Blu Avio, 340 Blu Denim, 350 Blu Zaffiro, 410 Verde Smeraldo, 420 Verde Prato, 430 Verde Pino, 500 Rosa Cipria, 530 Viola Ametista and 600 Giallo Vaniglia.
After exposure to daylight or artificial light, the grout glows for about an hour without significantly changing its original colour.

Note the limitations. Do not use a bucket with this effect outdoors — on terraces, balconies, facades and in swimming pools — as the additives have poor resistance to UV radiation. Also, do not use it on surfaces that come into contact with aggressive chemicals, such as industrial floors.
Substrate & compatibility
The substrate requirements are those of Starlike EVO itself: the joints must be clean, dust-free and open to the full tile thickness, and the tile adhesive must be completely dry and cured.

The effect is strongest on a surface exposed to daylight or artificial light. In a dark corner, you will see little of it.
Processing
First, mix the hardener (part B) into the coloured paste (part A) of Starlike EVO, using a slow-speed mixer, until a lump-free mass is obtained. Then carefully pour in this sachet and mix it gently until evenly distributed.
- Pour carefully: the powder is light and easily dusts up
- Mix at low speed, otherwise the product will splash
- Apply with a rubber float, diagonally to the joint direction
- Most favourable between +18 °C and +23 °C
- Clean while the product is fresh
Do not add water or solvent to make it easier to spread. Below +10 °C, the mixture becomes thick and difficult to work with, and curing takes much longer; do not start if the temperature drops below +10 °C within 24 hours. In warm weather, spread the product quickly over the surface, as the reaction heat in the bucket shortens the working time.

Frequently asked questions
Do I also need a bucket of Starlike EVO for this? Yes. This is an additive, not a grout in itself. The sachet is pre-dosed for a 2.5 kg bucket, which you order separately.
Does Night Vision work with every colour? No, only with the colours mentioned in the technical data sheet. If your colour is not listed, choose Spotlight or Gold, which can be mixed with the entire range.
Can this also be used on my balcony or terrace? No. These additives have poor resistance to UV radiation and are therefore only intended for indoor use. For outdoor use, choose a regular EVO colour without effect.
How do I prevent the powder from dusting? Pour it slowly into the already mixed bucket and keep the mixer speed low. The powder is very light, so fast pouring or hard mixing will make it dust up.
