The Litokol Starlike Grout Float Pro is a professional rubber grout float, article number 946GR, made for grouting with the decorative epoxy gels from the Starlike line. The rubber edge has two profiles: 18° and 42°.
Product & Function
The two rubber profiles are for different grouts and joint widths: 18° for one density and width, 42° for the other. This way, one float covers both situations. Green, 245 by 115 millimeters, and heavy enough to feel it in your hand. The ergonomic grip makes a noticeable difference if you grout an entire bathroom floor in one session.
Application & Compatibility
The float itself makes no demands on the substrate; these follow from the grout you use.
- Grouting with Starlike Pro
- Grouting with Starlike Crystal
- Grouting with Starlike Easy
- Floor and wall
- Also for outdoor applications
- Narrow and wide joints, thanks to the two profiles
Note the limit: The float is designed for Starlike's decorative epoxy gels. For cement-based grout, you can use a regular grout float.
Usage & Points of Attention
Spread the epoxy gel diagonally across the surface, perpendicular to the joint direction, and completely fill the joints. Then remove the excess material from the tile surface.
- Work diagonally relative to the joint direction
- Completely fill joints until saturated
- Immediately remove excess material from the tile
- Choose the profile that matches the joint width
- Clean with water as long as the grout is fresh
Finish the surface while the grout is still fresh. Once cured, epoxy can only be removed mechanically from the tile.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this float have two different edges? The 18° and 42° edges are designed for grouts with different densities and for narrow versus wide joints. This way, one float covers both situations.
Can I also use it for Starlike EVO? The technical sheet mentions Starlike Pro, Crystal, and Easy. For EVO, the product's sheet specifies a rubber grout float without a specific article number.
Can this float also be used outdoors? Yes. The sheet explicitly mentions outdoor applications, in addition to indoor floor and wall.
How do I clean the float? With water, as long as the grout is still fresh. Cured epoxy can only be removed mechanically, so clean immediately after use.
