Use and application
You use this fill sand as the load-bearing layer under paving, or to raise and level a garden, border, or path. You spread the sand to the desired layer thickness over the surface and then compact it with a plate compactor or tamper to create a firm sub-base. On top of this, you lay the paving layer with your tiles or pavers.
