Litokol PowerGel Pro Max is a two-component epoxy gel adhesive that simultaneously bonds and waterproofs. It is designed for the most demanding applications: large-format slabs, marble and natural stone, even on substrates where conventional adhesives fail. This version is the 5 kg bucket.
Product & Application
PowerGel Pro Max is classified as R2T according to EN 12004 and simultaneously as RM 01 P according to EN 14891. This means it has been assessed as both a reactive adhesive and a waterproofing layer — one product for two functions.
This is the adhesive you grab when there's no second chance. Ultra Bianco, creamy in texture, and thick enough to hold its shape on a wall while you press the slab into it.

Note the limitation: Do not use it where the floor needs to be walkable quickly — a cementitious adhesive is faster there. When bonding directly to fiberglass or PVC, the substrate must first be sanded.
Substrate & Compatibility
According to UNI 11493-1, the substrate must be mechanically sound and free from loose parts, grease, oil, paint, wax, and rising damp.

If you are unsure whether a specific substrate is suitable, first create a test piece. The number of types of substrates and tiles is too vast to exclude everything beforehand.
Processing
Mix part A and part B in the prescribed ratio to form a uniform gel and apply it with a notched trowel appropriate for the tile size and the substrate.

- Process between +10 °C and +30 °C
- Over 60 minutes of working time and open time
- Adhesive layers from 1 to 15 mm
- Grout after 12 hours on walls, after 24 hours on floors
Protect the work from rain for at least 24 hours. If working around +10 °C, the manufacturer advises adding EpoxyGel Booster: two 50-gram sachets per 5 kg, or one 200-gram sachet per 10 kg. Ensure a fully filled adhesive bed outdoors and under heavy load.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I choose an epoxy adhesive instead of a cementitious adhesive? Because it simultaneously waterproofs and bonds, and because it is highly deformable. For large-format slabs, unstable natural stone, or a substrate where cracks are a risk, that makes all the difference.
Can I also process it at low temperatures? From +10 °C. If you are working just above that, the manufacturer advises adding EpoxyGel Booster: two 50-gram sachets per 5 kg.
When can I grout? On a wall after 12 hours, on a floor after 24 hours. It is walkable after 12 hours and fully loadable after five days; for swimming pools, seven days.
What is this adhesive NOT suitable for? For floors that need to be walkable quickly. Choose a cementitious adhesive for those. When bonding to fiberglass or PVC, the substrate must first be sanded.
